Meet Alec Groom
At the helm of this new chapter for Ambush Boats is one of its new owners, Alec Groom. A lifelong boater who grew up navigating the waters of Arkansas.
Alec brings both hands-on experience and a deep respect for the Ambush name.
As the new team works to honor the reputation built over years of craftsmanship, they’re also focused on improving design, refining safety features, and pushing performance even further.

Meet Jake Applegate
At the heart of AMBUSH Boats’ daily operations is General Manager Jake Applegate. A proud Central Arkansas native, Jake loves spending time with his family above all but his second passion is embracing the great outdoors—casting a line, tracking game, or duck hunting on the river with his loyal dog, Jessie, by his side.
Jake is thrilled to join Ambush Boats and contribute to its exciting future. He’s eager to connect with our valued customers and deliver exceptional experiences.
